Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas needed a piece that would drive recruits for their program. The film we produced used stop motion photography (Beth Perkins) to highlight a day in the life of a “Big” and his “Little.” Ultimately the goal of the film was to lower the mental barriers potential “Bigs” might encounter while considering becoming involved. Apathy will always be a hurdle for philanthropy. How do you inspire people to rise from their hindquarters and get involved? This spot helped create record attendance for the AIDSWalk in Austin the year it ran. It also had a great award show run, garnering an Andy Award from the Advertising Club of New York among others.
