<p>Buzz Off Cancer took place on LIVE<strong>STRONG</strong> Day 2010. Thirty five people took to the chairs at <a href="http://www.birdsbarbershop.com/">Birds Barbershop</a> and had their hair buzzed off, setting a world record for &#8220;Most people to get a buzz in solidarity with young adult cancer survivors&#8221; in the process. This event officially kicked off the <a href="http://urdb.org/breakcancer">Break Cancer</a> campaign for the <a href="http://www.livestrong.org/What-We-Do/Our-Actions/Programs-Partnerships/LIVESTRONG-Young-Adult-Alliance">LIVE</a><strong><a href="http://www.livestrong.org/What-We-Do/Our-Actions/Programs-Partnerships/LIVESTRONG-Young-Adult-Alliance">STRONG</a></strong><a href="http://www.livestrong.org/What-We-Do/Our-Actions/Programs-Partnerships/LIVESTRONG-Young-Adult-Alliance"> Young Adult Alliance</a>. Partnering with <a href="http://urdb.org/">The Universal Records Database</a> we will engage the 165 member organizations of the alliance to drive a record setting bonanza that spreads awareness, action and fundraising for the young adult cancer issue. So quit reading the internets. Go <a href="http://urdb.org/breakcancer">set a record</a> and break some cancer.</p>

It is both an education and invitation for people who experience it and continues to be a very moving and invigorating experience for participants.</p>
