Some case studies take too many words to explain. Enjoy the moving pictures. A little more of the nitty gritty here.

Buzz Off Cancer took place on LIVESTRONG Day 2010. Thirty five people took to the chairs at Birds Barbershop and had their hair buzzed off, setting a world record for “Most people to get a buzz in solidarity with young adult cancer survivors” in the process. This event officially kicked off the Break Cancer campaign for the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance. Partnering with The Universal Records Database we will engage the 165 member organizations of the alliance to drive a record setting bonanza that spreads awareness, action and fundraising for the young adult cancer issue. So quit reading the internets. Go set a record and break some cancer.
Big thanks to Birds and their stylists, Lone Star Beer, and Cody Hamilton for the photo doc brilliance. The Towne Dandies for the music, and finally a big bros shout out to Travis Wurges for the great vid documenting the event.

This is a 3-D interactive ‘mission’ booth for LIVESTRONG. It illustrates the survivor care and advocacy activities of the foundation. Motion graphics play on flat panel displays which are integrated into the structure of the booth which communicate
s the ways in which people can join the fight or receive help from the foundation.
People are invited to use a number of custom stamps to create their own piece of ’cause art’ which they can hang on a series of strings that span between the two end caps of the booth. It is both an education and invitation for people who experience it and continues to be a very moving and invigorating experience for participants.
When asked to redesign the LIVESTRONG merchandise trailer one of our initial thoughts was to feature the merch itself. Two reasons why – 1. Nike designed an attractive line of threads that should be celebrated 2. Adam Voorhes, our photog friend, was experimenting with a new macro lens. We loved the results he was getting.
Now everyone can feel the fabric of the LIVESTRONG as it rolls into town for an event.

Texans Curing Cancer PAC drove the passage of Prop 15 in Texas unlocking $3 billion in funding for cancer prevention and research. We branded the campaign for this band of bipartisan backers led by the toughest survivor on the planet, Lance Armstrong. The highlight of the design exercise was wrapping the “Survivor One” tour bus in graphics.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation has expanded its mission in the cancer fight. The UNITE campaign fuels grassroots efforts, via recruitment of the LIVESTRONG Army, and calls for unity amongst the tens of millions of Americans affected by cancer. It’s time to make fighting cancer a national priority.
